A few changes to the site, mainly style. The connect page now has a real-time
lastcallers, pumped from the Amiga to PC web server. Grapevine article added. Doorpack
now a single file. Main change with the BBS is the change of my IP, check the connect page for
the new one. I've upgraded my ADSL line which means the BBS will be on and off in the next week or so
as I have to sort some cables to get the best out of the new line speed. Something that's not online (yet)
is a fully functional AmiExpress 4.12 (for WinUAE) - spent a good amount of time getting that together, it's
about 5mb (2 files). Minor changes would get it working on a real Amiga - it's based on my current BBS setup.

Paranoid contacted me asking for assistance setting up AmiExpress - but as it
turned out, we got onto the subject of the upload problem. "pacerate 19200" was added to the
telnetd configuration. We're not actually sure that has cured the problem 100%, whether it was
*actually* the problem in the first place (broadband speeds hammering the telnetd device)
or whether my new Netgear or PCMCIA card has solved the issue. I can't actually get SecureCRT
to upload a file, but Paranoid pointed me towards
mTelnet which works great. Some of the colours
on the BBS are wrong - possibly my fault since there was something about red and white displaying
incorrectly on /X...but it does upload okay.
LSD Wall removed for the moment. It lost data then crashed the following day. I know it's a solid
program, so I don't know what's wrong at the moment. I'll have to play around with it.

General update to overall appearance of site, bottom paragraph of front
page removed, because it sounded so obnoxious. BBS updated to include LSD Brickwall and all the
abuse it can bring. I never mentioned the first time I gained access to Permanent Vacation? I
believe Grand Admiral himself was there at the time and I was faced with all this crap about myself
on the wall. Man, I went f'ing spare - with no clue that the wall had special codes to display my
name as I passed through. How embarrassing. Guestbook is filling up with some old names from
back in the day, amazing! Good to see /X is not forgotten.

Thanks to Jason Scott, I have been able
to contact Mike Thomas, so the whole front page has been updated. Thanks, guys!

Extradition BBS goes back online,
you can find out more by clicking the 'connect' link on the left. One node at the
moment, which I'm hoping to sort out within the next day or so. Edit: I think 4 nodes
are running fine at the moment, that number may drop because each node takes up
a heap of memory and lord knows, I'm trying to keep this thing stable right now, heh.

A few changes to the site, nothing new
in the way of media, just a redesign. Did add a few extra (million) borders and colours,
but removed them just as quickly - it all looked too 'busy'. All the /X doors I have
are split into 4 Zip files, none have been virus checked, you have been warned :) My BBS
is still offline, that will definitely return within the year. The problem with my BBS is
that it hangs when someone tries to upload, so I doubt I'll ever be running a
fully-functional board - this is a problem with telnet.device and its alternate,
telser.device. I think, anyway. I'll just block out the up/download commands with
an extra config-icon or something. Hopefully I can get somekind of Java telnet thing
going on here, just keep an occasional eye on this update page.
