Comments:Mystery Tour BBS sysop here...I think I had the Defjam WHQ with 4 nodes at one time in the mid to late 1990's. Yes I had been wondering what ever happened to everyone we knew from the old Amiga scene. I remember calling Checkpoint, Happy Pirates Ship and many others I dont remember after so long. Good to see others are kind of looking up the old Amiga scene after all these years.

Comments:Only experience with BBS was I think an 800 baud modem an ex-Boss gave me. Accidentally called a Norwegian board and ran up a large bill. Needless to say the modem was permanently disconnected after that.

Comments:Hi,

I remember Digital Candy, use to while away many an hour on there, also 13th hour in the north west. A few others i dont remember the names of.

If anyone remembers me or wants a chat about old days get me on above email address. Ran AIO diskmag for a few years also.

Are you the one that created the IRC channel #Am!ga ? - way back in the 90's...(Am!ga not Amiga)

Hi,

Yeah I created #am!ga think it was on IRCnet, used to have a few UK sceners hang out on there from some of the boards.

Who is asking/remembering btw :D?

I am - I don't know if I used my BBS nick on IRC, but I was JaDe (Wormhole) - I remember Sn0zZ was there - and it was my first Internet experience! If you recall, there was a time when BuZz (see ExoticA, left) took over the channel. We were all pissed off at the time, but I guess us noobs were asking for it. He's cool btw, so don't go screaming at him lol. Great days!

Comments:well well well didn't think i'd actually find something to do with my old bbs.

I remember using Ami X and also daydream which i recall being great. I also ran Electric Warrior and Cement city for a bit too but unfortunately lost them both on hard drive crashes :(

I certainly remeber the days of Iggy and the rest of all the clan. Kind of miss them.

Hello to all ex-sceners! Think i'll go on #amielite on effnet and say hello to crusader and candyman :)

Comments:Hi guys -- what a nostalgia trip :) I have spent months and months about 7 years ago trying to get Metal Impact back up and running. Going from /X, Tempest and S!X on an emulator and the real deal (Modded A1200-tower) over to modding Pc-based systems (Pc-Board / PC Express / Desire / Instinct / System/X / ...) to look like it. I was quite succesful at it but started with the wrong expectations. I.e.: get going what I had before MI went offline and we all know those days are not coming back ..... ever! :( The closest thing is DayDream on Linux, but my brain was too simple to understand Linux before it had any of those fancy GUI's and now I just can't be bothered anymore.

Anyway, it is great to see some of you back on here.

Take care,
Danny aka -TCB!-
