Telnetd.device Unit 1

  • If you are setting up telnetd.device I would recommend the following:

    Top speed should be = 19200
    Always setup your first telnet node as unit 1
    (Do not use 0)
    and continue on for additional nodes: 2,3 etc..

  • I have run into some odd issues when using unit 0 for my local node.
    It usually occurs in installations with 2+ telnet nodes.
    I forget what the issue is, but I think the node wouldn't answer properly.
    Just out of curiosity how many nodes are you running?

  • I'm running 5 nodes, but this is in the ABBS Bulletin Board system, not AmiExpress. Running 5 nodes.

    My main problem is those botnets banging on port 23 all the time which results in crashing the nodes at the end....
    Do you have a problem with this?
